Statement of Purpose 
 
Article 2 of The Gladstone Yacht Club Charter states that the objective of the Club is “to promote the

interest of yachting on Little Bay de Noc and adjacent waters; to cooperate with the City and private

management of all aquatic activities to the best of our ability; and to encourage the safety, on and

near the water, of crafts and people.”

Inasmuch as our Charter directs us to promote the interest of yachting on Little Bay de Noc, we also

consider our responsibility to the community which has facilitated our success. 

GYC is a not-for-profit organization and is committed to enriching the lives of all area citizens.
